First Aid Course for Newborns and Small Toddlers

From now on we decided to organize first aid course also in English language in cooperation with Pavla Paux.  Pavla is an experienced paramedic, instructor, and mother of three children. You can read more about Pavla here : www.paux.cz

The course lasts approximately 3 hours.

This course is intended for expecting parents, parents of toddlers and other caregivers. You will not hear just dry theory during this course! You will try out how to practically react in unpleasant, sometimes even life-threatening situations. Unfortunately, these never fully disappear. Although we can learn how to respond in a way that helps without panicking, providing effective first aid. If you want to gain confidence and supplement your knowledge in pediatric first aid, this course is exactly for you.

Topics we will discuss: checking consciousness of newborns and older children, resuscitation of newborns and toddlers, choking in children, life-threatening bleeding (including tips for treating minor wounds)

Since the instructor has small children, it is possible that the course may be canceled at the last minute and rescheduled for an alternative date. If the new date does not suit you, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation Policy (does not apply to Pregnancy Exercise, Physiotherapy Exercise, and Baby Yoga classes)
- If you cancel your participation in the course more than 14 days before the course starts – you will receive a full refund
- If you cancel your participation in the course up to 14 days before the course starts – 25% of the course fee will be charged as a cancellation fee
- If you cancel your participation in the course up to one week before the course starts – 70% of the course fee will be charged as a cancellation fee
- If you cancel your participation in the course less than 72 hours before the course starts – 100% of the course fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. If you have registered a replacement participant, the full amount will be refunded.
- Health issues, illness – please call regarding replacements as soon as possible!

First Aid Course for Children: a reserved date can be moved no later than 14 days before the course without a cancellation fee. The cancellation fees listed above will apply otherwise. In case of your illness, you CAN find a replacement for yourself. Last-minute course rescheduling without cancellation fee is possible if a replacement is registered for your spot.
